ATEC Participates in Doorways 2 Construction Program

ATEC in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is participating in a Doorways 2 Construction program. This program is a new all-girl training program which provides a path for high school students into residential, commercial or civil construction. It also aims to address any perceived barriers to girls pursuing a career in the industry.
ATEC held a workshop along with TAFE SA on Friday 30th October at Pasadena High School. This initial program of 25 girls encompassed students from 10 schools in the South Westerm suburbs of Adelaide.
